A former North Dakota native is a transplant Texan. An 18-year veteran, he spent 12 years at Major League Hockey becoming a four-time MHL All-Star. His career was derailed by alcohol and substance abuse. Now sobered up and recovering alcoholic, he wants one last shot at the MHL playing the last six seasons in the minors including last three with Rochenstein Renegades where he was lead captain then later a player assistant coach.

His season didn’t get off a good start when Gilles injured his knee during camp putting him on the injured list for eight weeks. He confronted him over his lack of respect. Came back from injury and scored a hat trick in his season debut. He spent the season feuding with Gilles when he was taking shots at him over his leadership and past playing career. He snapped when Gilles told local newspaper he should retire. He challenged him to a 10-shot shootout putting his career on the line if didn’t get the puck past him. He succeeded on his last try. In his next game he suffered a freak eye-injury abruptly ending his playing career and his dream for one more try in the majors.

He’s back with the team as assistant coach to Tully Francis and angry than ever. Just don't get on his bad side.
