From cold region of Siberia the Russian import is a complete player able to play both offense and defense. His pro career started when he was 17. The six-year pro is back for his second year on North American soil. He is loyal to the team and would fight for them. He is cold, calculated, and dangerous physically. He earned the nickname “The Silent Assassin” for:

1) Bone-crunching, out-of-nowhere punishing bodychecks and physical play

2) Other than growls and howls he never spoke a word

His first season with the team started off with a great impression in camp wowing the players and coach earning him a first line defensemen spot. During camp he fought Gilles earning him his friendship and respect. He scored a goal in his first game with the team. On Thanksgiving Day game he instigated (with Gilles instructing him) a fight with a vicious elbow to one of Novi Barons players. It resulted a broken jaw of Barons’ player Layche Bordeaux (courtesy of his elbow once again) thus creating a rivalry between both teams and earning him a league suspension. He took part of Nutcracker play replacing a sick dancer. His continuous superb play earned him an All-Star roster spot and later co-captaincy once held by Wendell. Few games later he suffered a broken orbital bone on a stick of Layche Bordeaux in retaliation for breaking his jaw knocking him for rest of the season. On third next to last game of the season he signed a medical waiver to play against the Barons. He immediately targeted Bordeaux sending him to and breaking the plexiglass punching him up the process. During the melee he attacked a fan after he got sucker punched from him. In a mere six seconds he was given game match penalty and suspended for remainder of the season. At the end he won the league top defensemen award.

Now fully recovered from his eye injury he’s back as he continues his dangerous assault on the ice.
